Where the money comes from — and where it stops.

Two revenue streams, one hard rule: commission never touches a verdict.

Glodeal earns money in two ways — and neither one is allowed to change a verdict. This page explains exactly how, so you can read every recommendation knowing what's behind it.

How Glodeal makes money

FulfilmentFor orders we fulfil ourselves — procurement, or a verified alternative — you pay Glodeal for the product and the service of sourcing, verifying and delivering it.
Affiliate referralWhen a verdict sends you to a local retailer or marketplace, some of those partners pay us a small commission if you buy through our link. It never changes the price you pay.

No Sponsored. Ever.

This is the line we will not cross. Glodeal will never:

Commission carries zero weight in our verdicts. The verdict — buy local, import, alternative, or don't import — is decided from price and quality data before monetisation is ever looked at. If the honest answer earns us less, the honest answer still wins.

How affiliate links are marked

Outbound links that may earn us a commission are tagged with rel="sponsored nofollow" and sit under a clear "Where to buy" heading on each decision page. We work with affiliate networks including ArabClicks and Admitad, and with Amazon Associates (AE, US, UK, DE).

As an Amazon Associate, Glodeal earns from qualifying purchases. This does not affect the price you pay or the verdict we reach.

When the honest answer pays us nothing

Many of our verdicts are "buy local" — and the best local seller may pay us a smaller commission, or none at all. We publish those verdicts anyway. A recommendation that exists to earn a commission isn't judgment; it's an advertisement. We're not in that business.

Read how the verdict itself is built.

The monetisation is downstream of the method. Here's the method.
